Salomon X ULTRA 4 Mid GORE-TEX Mens Hiking Boots
Get ready to power through uphill and descents with this mid-cut GORE-TEX version of the updated X-ULTRA 4. It is as agile as a trail-running shoe but with all the stability, grip and waterproof protection you need to tackle technical terrain. Equipped with a new chassis, the shoe is even better at protecting sensitive articulations without compromising freedom of movement.
Enhanced stability
The new Advanced Chassis™ targets articulations on the outer foot to optimize stability without limiting your mobility, while the higher cut provides extra ankle support.
All-terrain grip
The All Terrain Contagrip® outsole grabs the terrain, even when it’s wet or slippery, giving you more control, especially on descents.
Trail-inspired agility
Drawing on our trail-running expertise, this shoe is lighter and more agile, so you stay nimble on uneven terrain.

- Our All Terrain Contagrip® is built for the widest variety of surfaces. It delivers durability & confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces
- Advanced Chassis™ is a moulded insert embedded in the outsole. Providing strong lateral support and reassuring protection, it also delivers optimal mobility and flexibility
- Lug design with deep penetration and multi-directional grip, improving traction on soft surfaces like mud or loose dirt
- These mobile wings help hold the foot in place and accompany its movement, adapting to its shape and volume
- A high-performance EVA foam that provides shock attenuation
- A soft, breathable lining for extreme comfort
- A polyurethane-coated leather that protects it and makes it stronger to last longer
- A special treatment is applied to provide extra protection, ensuring that the fabric does not absorb water during light rain and showers
- The tongue is connected to the upper on both sides, preventing debris from entering the shoe, and keeping the tongue centered
- SensiFit™ cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug, and virtually customized fit all around the foot
- A wrap of leather, synthetic or rubber around the base of the foot that protects the lateral and medial sides of the foot
- GORE-TEX keeps your feet dry -from the outside as well as from the inside

Free standard home delivery to anywhere in the Republic of Ireland for all standard orders over €70.
Delivery Service (without assembly) to the Republic of Ireland for Home Gym equipment costs €20, select items incur a delivery charge of €40 due to oversized dimensions. Click here for more information about our delivery charges.
Standard delivery to Republic of Ireland at present is taking 1 to 4 working days.
If your order does not meet these timings, it may be because your item(s) are being dispatched from a different location. In this case, we will contact you with an expected delivery date.

If you’re unhappy with your purchase, we’re happy to offer a refund on unused, re-saleable items returned with original packaging within 30 days of receipt of your order. You can return your item to us with your Order Reference Number and this Returns Form completed, or alternatively you can bring to any of our stores.

Returns via Post
You can post your item back to our Distribution Centre. Fill in the Returns Form supplied with your order (or download here) or enclose a note detailing your name, address, contact number, Order Reference number and reason for return. Returns for orders fulfilled and shipped from our Partner Warehouses**
Please note, items fulfilled and shipped by a Partner Warehouse, (including orders for Portwest workwear range), cannot be returned to an Intersport Elverys store. While returns to stores are possible where applicable, we recommend sending them directly to our Head Office.
