Overview
McKinley Sophi Womens Full-Zip Padded Slim-Fit Ski Jacket
The McKinley Sophi Womens Padded Ski Jacket is designed for alpine skiing, combining waterproof protection, breathability and a streamlined fit for comfort on the slopes.
Designed to handle the demands of alpine skiing, the Sophi jacket offers a waterproof rating of 10,000 millimetres and a breathability rating of 10,000 grams per square metre over 24 hours. This combination helps protect against moisture while allowing water vapour to escape during physical activity. Whether making your way down the slopes or spending time outdoors between runs, the jacket provides a balance of weather protection and comfort throughout the day.
The slim fit creates a close, streamlined shape while allowing the freedom of movement needed for skiing. Crafted from durable woven polyester, the jacket is designed to withstand regular wear while maintaining a comfortable feel. A fixed hood provides additional coverage, while the adjustable hem allows you to personalise the fit according to your preferences and the conditions.
Practical storage and comfort features add to the jacket's functionality. Multiple pockets provide convenient space for essentials, including dedicated compartments for goggles and sunglasses. A chin guard offers additional comfort around the neckline, while thumbholes at the cuffs help keep the sleeves comfortably positioned during movement. These thoughtful details make the McKinley Sophi a versatile option for skiers who value protection, comfort and a neat, fitted silhouette.
Product Highlights
Waterproof and Breathable Protection
Featuring a waterproof rating of 10,000 millimetres, the Sophi jacket helps protect against snow and wet conditions on the mountain. Its breathable membrane, rated at 10,000 grams per square metre over 24 hours, allows moisture vapour to escape, helping maintain comfort during more active skiing sessions.
Slim Fit Design
The slim fit construction creates a flattering, streamlined silhouette while maintaining the mobility required for alpine skiing. This close-fitting design offers a comfortable feel without unnecessary bulk, making it suitable for movement on the slopes.
Practical Storage Options
Multiple pockets provide accessible storage for everyday skiing essentials. Dedicated goggle and sunglasses pockets offer convenient places to keep eyewear when not in use, helping you stay organised throughout your time on the mountain.
Additional Comfort and Coverage
A fixed hood provides coverage in colder conditions, while the adjustable hem allows you to customise the fit. The chin guard adds comfort around the neck, and integrated thumbholes at the cuffs help keep the sleeves in position during activity.
