BERG Trampoline Types

Berg trampolines are available in three different installation styles, allowing you to choose the setup that best suits your garden layout, aesthetic preferences, and safety needs. Whether you want a simple above-ground model or a seamless in-ground design, each option offers unique advantages in terms of accessibility, appearance, and performance.

Regular (on legs) Trampoline

  • Easiest to install and relocate

  • No digging required

  • Elevated from the ground

InGround Trampoline

  • Sits in a shallow pit so it’s level with the ground surface

  • Lower entry height, making it easier for children

  • Requires digging and a proper pit

FlatGround Trampoline

  • Completely flush with the ground

  • Sleek, minimalist look

  • Best for safety and integration into gardens

  • Usually offers best bounce due to special airflow design

BERG Trampoline Shapes

Berg trampolines come in three distinct shapes, each offering different benefits in terms of bounce dynamics, space usage, and intended use. The shape you choose can make a big difference depending on the age and experience of the jumpers, as well as the size and layout of your garden.

Round

  • Classic design with even bounce distribution

  • Ideal for general family use and beginners

Ultim (Rectangle)

  • Best for gymnastics and more advanced jumpers

  • Provides consistent bounce across the entire surface

  • Preferred for tricks and directional control

Grand (Oval)

  • Combines benefits of round and rectangle

  • Longer jumping surface than round but with more stability than rectangle

  • Good option for narrow gardens or shared use

BERG Safety Net Option

Safety is a top priority for Berg, and choosing the right safety net is an important part of selecting a trampoline. Depending on the model and setup, you can choose from two types of nets or opt to install the trampoline without one. Each option offers a different level of protection and is more suited to particular age groups and usage scenarios.

Safety Net Comfort

  • Standard net included with many Favorit and Champion models

  • Designed for general recreational use

  • Secure, flexible entrance and firm enclosure

  • Suitable for younger children and family use

Safety Net DLX XL

  • Premium net with extra height and reinforced structure

  • Offers maximum protection, even for more powerful bouncers

  • Features a self-closing entrance and thicker padding

  • Recommended for older children, teens, and intensive use

No Safety Net

  • Often chosen for FlatGround or InGround models in enclosed gardens or where users are experienced

  • Provides a clean, open look but requires higher supervision

  • Best suited to older users with good control and awareness

  • Not recommended for young children

BERG Jump Mat

The quality of a trampoline’s jump mat and springs plays a central role in how it performs. These components affect the height of the bounce, the comfort of landing, and the long-term durability of the trampoline. Berg uses two main types of spring systems across its ranges, paired with high-performance jump mats that vary depending on the model.

Favorit Range

The Favorit is designed for recreational family use and is ideal for children and lighter jumpers. Its jump mat and spring combination prioritise safety, control, and everyday enjoyment.

  • Features SoloSpring technology for a gentle and forgiving bounce

  • Uses a durable, UV-resistant jump mat suited for regular use

  • Ideal for young children or occasional jumping

  • Simple, reliable setup without performance-driven features

Champion and Elite Ranges

The Champion and Elite models are built for performance, offering better bounce, airflow, and shock absorption. These are suited for more active users who want consistent and responsive jumping.

  • Equipped with TwinSpring Gold springs, arranged in a V-shaped angle

  • Includes AirFlow or AirFlow Pro mats for improved bounce height and airflow

  • Delivers a larger, more comfortable jump area

  • Suitable for older children, teens, and regular active use

BERG Spring Type and Number of Springs

The type and number of springs significantly influence the trampoline’s bounce quality. The more springs and the better the arrangement, the smoother and more powerful the jump.

  • SoloSprings are used in the Favorit range for softer, entry-level performance

  • TwinSprings are used in Champion and Elite models for enhanced control and height

  • Springs are angled to reduce strain and improve jump dynamics

  • Smaller trampolines may use as few as 48 springs, while larger models can use over 120

  • A higher spring count spreads the jumping force evenly, improving bounce and extending lifespan
