NEW OPERATIONAL MEASURES To ensure the continued protection of our colleagues, customers and ultimately our communities, we will be taking the following measures to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus: As of August 10th, the wearing of face coverings in retail premises is mandatory for customers. We thank our customers for their cooperation with this. All our team will be wearing masks and/or visors, and we request our customers to do the same. We are managing traffic flow to help facilitate social distancing, hand sanitising stations, more frequent cleaning, sanitizing of the store, contactless payments, returns and online order collections. We have installed protective screens at checkouts.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are all of your stores open? The majority of our stores are open with a small number with their opening date to be confirmed. Please see the bottom of this page for a full list of stores and opening times. Be advised this list is subject to change in accordance with government recommendations.
Will the full store be open or a limited range? Some stores may need to amend their layout to ensure our customers can shop safely. Our teams in store will ensure our full range of products is still available to our customers, and customers can access our entire range via www.elverys.ie on our instore iPads also.
Will there be a range of Home Gym Equipment available? Select stores will have Home Gym Equipment available. Some stores will have Display Models/pre-Assembled items available. These can be purchased and collected, however our team members can not assist with any item that is a 2-person carry, and will not be permitted to bring items to customers’ vehicles. Stock once available will be on www.elverys.ie for Home Delivery. If you are looking for a specific Home Gym item that is no longer available on www.elverys.ie you can contact your local store in advance and check availability.
Are you offering Assembly on Home Gym Equipment? Our Home Gym Team are happy to assemble your purchase. Assembly must be purchased at time of transaction in-store/online. Please note the following Covid-19 safety guidelines that must be adhered to:
The Home Gym Team will call you when they are outside so you can open the front door.
In order to maintain the required social distancing we would ask that you leave a clear walkway from the entrance of your home to the room where the item is being assembled. Please note, we can only deliver to ground floor locations.
Any people in the home should remain in a different room to our team members during the assembly process.
Our Home Gym Team members have at all times a supply of hand sanitiser and PPE, and hands are sanitised before and after each assembly.
Our team members will wear all the necessary PPE as outlined by the HSE for the assembly, and will wipe down all surfaces of the product where possible after they have finished.
At present, we can not offer demonstrations of equipment as it is impossible to do this safely while adhering to social distancing, however our Home Gym Team will fully test your purchase to ensure it is in full and proper working order prior to departing.
In the event that you require an item removed (WEEE regulations), Intersport Elverys need to be notified at time of purchase. The item for removal needs to be left outside your premises for our Home Gym Team, it will be wiped down/cleaned before being removed. Please note, for online purchases please contact firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your Order Number and the item you wish to remove
***In the interest of the health and safety of our team members, we are unable to offer Home Gym Assembly in any areas that are currently in lockdown. Home Delivery will still be available, but this will be to front door only, our Home Gym team members will not be entering customers' homes in affected areas. If you purchase Assembly with your item, and are in one of the affected areas, our Customer Service Team team will contact you in advance to arrange a refund of the Assembly Charge.***
Can I still collect online orders? Each store has a designated area where customers can collect their order safely. Please note, select items will be “Home Delivery Only” based on size/weight and will not be available for Click & Collect.
Can I purchase FootBalance customised insoles? We are happy to offer FootBalance 100% Custom Fit insole service. In conjunction with FootBalance, we have reviewed our procedures to ensure we can offer this service safely for both our team members and customers. For more information on our procedures, please contact your local store.
Can I get a Gait Analysis/SafeSize 3d Foot Analysis done in stores? We are happy to offer Gait Analysis again. We have reviewed our procedures to ensure we can offer this service safely for both our team members and customers. For more information on our procedures, please contact your local store. SafeSize 3d foot analysis is available in Limerick Crescent and Dundrum, again, our processes have been reviewed to ensure we can offer this service while practicing social distancing.
Can I get my child’s foot measured in stores? All of our stores offer kids foot measuring. We have reviewed our procedures to ensure we can offer this service safely for both our team members and customers. Please note, if bringing a child to our stores for measuring, please ensure they are wearing socks. We will also provide pop socks.
Can I try on footwear and clothing in store? Our fitting rooms are closed in the interest of hygiene and for the safety of our customers and team members. Footwear can be tried on, and any footwear not purchased will be placed in a quarantined area for 2 days before another customer can try on. We’d encourage customers to try on items safely at home, and return if necessary.
Is jersey printing available in stores? Jersey printing is available in select stores.
Can I order from your website while in store using your Assisted Selling Ipads? Yes, our team in the store will be able to assist you safely in ordering an item either to your home address or to your nearest store. We will ensure this is done safely for both our customers and team members.
Can I pay with cash? Customer can pay in with cash, however we do encourage contactless/chip & pin transactions wherever possible. We would also encourage customers to opt for e-receipts over paper receipts.
Home Delivery for International Orders Update While the majority of countries are now accepting parcels some are still experiencing internal processing delays. USA - Is not accepting any parcels at present due to Covid 19 restrictions. Australia - An post are not currently shipping to Australia due to Covid 19 restrictions. France - Internal delays on all mail. Due to restrictions the French Post Office has limited the size of items to the following dimensions, 32cm X 24cm X 24cm.
