Elverys Sports was established in 1847 and is the oldest sports store in Ireland. Following a take over by Staunton Sports in 1998, Elverys Sports have expanded from a single store operation to fifty stores nationwide. This coming together brought a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of the sports retail business that is reflected in our shops today. Today, we employ over six hundred people and are proud to be wholly Irish owned.

Elverys Sports continually support organisations and associations that promote sport at a grass root level. No where is this more evident than our Intercounty GAA Sponsorships of the Mayo Men's and Dublin Ladies GAA teams. Elverys Sports are the Official Retail Partner to the 2 largest sporting organisations in the country: Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU), and the Gaelic Association of Ireland (GAA).

We are closely affiliated to the Irish Hockey Association and are the Official Apparel Sponsor to the Flora Women's Mini Marathon taking over from Nike, the worlds leading sports brand. The event is staged in Dublin every June and is the biggest event of its kind in the world with over 40,000 ladies participants each year.
